A protester holds a 'Hands up Don't Shoot' placard during the #Tokyo4Ferguson Protest in Shibuya on Saturday.
The protest was attended by around 100 protesters opposing Police brutality in the USA. They marched through the streets of Shibuya shouting 'Hands up don't shoot' in reference to the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri by Police Officer Darren Wilson on August 9, 2014. The subsequent decision by a grand jury to not indict Officer Wilson lead to wide spread protests in the US, and 'I can't breathe' in reference to the death of Eric Garner after Police in New York put him in a chokehold during an arrest on July 17, 2014.
