July 1, 2012- Tokyo, Japan...An Anti-Nuclear protester holds a No Nukes sign surrounded by Police at the end of a march through the streets of Shinjuku in Tokyo to protest the re-start of the Oi Nuclear reactor in Fukui Prefecture, the first nuclear reactor to be re-started since the 3/11 Earthquake and Tsunami that saw TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant go into a triple meltdown. The protesters chanted 'Let's crush Nuclear Energy. Yes, we can' and 'Noda. No way' during the march... Protests were staged throughout Japan on the weekend including a protest at the Prime Ministers official residence on Friday the  29th that saw a between 17,000 - 50,000 protest according to Police and according to local media...(Photo by B.Meyer-Kenny/2.0 Images)
