May 4, 2012- Fukushima, Japan. ..A 62 year old Farmer stands on land that has been in his family since Edo times and shows where he would normally plant his crops in the village of Miharu. His land is too contaminated to plant his crops, but the contamination is too low for him to receive sufficient compensation from TEPCO the operator of TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear plant to replace his lost income. He is waiting on 80,000 yen compensation from the company a fraction of what he would normally earn. .(Photo by B.Meyer-Kenny/2.0 Images)
